La Municipalidad acompaña a los adultos mayores y suma voluntarios en reserva
En medio del aislamiento social obligatorio, la Municipalidad de La Costa lleva adelante diversas acciones destinadas al acompañamiento y asistencia de los vecinos y vecinas con dispositivos especiales.
En este marco, el intendente Cristian Cardozo decidió poner en marcha un registro de voluntarios en reserva en la página web www.lacosta.gob.ar para que, en caso de ser necesario, puedan asistir a los adultos mayores, personas con discapacidad o cualquier vecino que lo requiera.
Cabe destacar que a través de la línea 147 de emergencia social, la Municipalidad brinda distintos tipos de ayuda comunitaria.
Además, a través del 2246-433093 se ofrece asistencia psicológica para quienes lo requieran durante el aislamiento. «En el número telefónico 147 estamos recibiendo un caudal inédito de llamados. Los Centros Comunitarios están abiertos, todas las líneas de comunicación municipal están disponibles a cualquier vecino que no se pueda comunicar con el 147 y así puedan hacer llegar su inquietud», indico el secretario de Desarrollo Social, Javier Vicente.
Asimismo, la Municipalidad a través de la dirección de Adultos Mayores, ofrece asistencia en una iniciativa de trabajo conjunto con los Centros de Jubilados y la Policía Local, donde los vecinos se pueden comunicar y requerir ayuda para la realización de trámites, retiro de recetas, medicamentos o compras mínimas de almacén o supermercados, sin manejo de dinero en bancos.
A todo esto se suma el listado de más de 450 comercios que prestan el servicio de delivery a lo largo de todo el Partido de La Costa y que se pueden encontrar en la página web del Municipio.
Todas estas acciones están destinadas a acompañar a los vecinos con el objetivo de que no tengan que salir de sus casas para cuidar su salud y del resto de la comunidad.
Ante esto, el intendente Cristian Cardozo dispuso la inscripción de esta reserva de voluntarios cuyos únicos requisitos son no pertenecer a la población de riesgo ni estar en contacto con personas de grupos de riesgo.
“Ante una eventualidad de que en algún momento haya circulación viral es importante tener este banco de voluntarios en reserva para contar así con un registro de aquellas personas que están en condiciones de ayudar a otro, qué tareas pueden realizar, qué perfiles tienen para llevar adelante la asistencia a las distintas necesidades de quienes no pueden salir a la calle”, explicó Vicente.
