El intendente costero,detalló cómo se está trabajando junto a la comunidad de cara al verano
El intendente del Partido de La Costa, Cristian Cardozo, mantuvo este mediodía un nuevo encuentro de comunicación con periodistas de medios locales y regionales, donde dio detalles de la serie de gestiones que se llevan adelante en materia turística anticipándose a los diversos escenarios que pueda presentar la pandemia del COVID-19.
En el encuentro virtual, el jefe comunal destacó: “Es un tema importante que nos ocupa todos los días en todos los frentes”. En este contexto, el intendente explicó que continúa convocando a las reuniones y las mesas de diálogo con cada uno de los sectores para ir trabajando sobre los distintos escenarios posibles de cara a la temporada.
“Sería irresponsable de mi parte hoy decir en qué escenario nos va a encontrar la temporada. Sí decir que todos estamos haciendo un gran esfuerzo en la República Argentina para que sea el mejor escenario posible, que redunde en beneficio de las comunidades turísticas”, evaluó el ejecutivo local.
“Le he pedido a Ezequiel Caruso que avance rápidamente con los sectores para que conforme el Ente Mixto de Turismo (EMTur). Así ya le damos funcionamiento a esta herramienta que fue creada hace muchos años por Guillermo Magadán, después hubo un época en que fue usada por Juan Pablo de Jesús y que me parece que ahora es el momento preciso para que lleve adelante el trabajo público y privado”, consideró el mandatario local.
En esta línea, el intendente puntualizó que el EMTur es una herramienta que tiene una organización y una legislación y “que va a permitir discutir de forma precisa, con sentido común y como comunidad los temas importantes en materia turística y de desarrollo del municipio”.
Por otra parte, el jefe comunal se refirió a la posibilidad que se presenta al poder estudiar el desarrollo a nivel mundial del turismo durante la pandemia. “Estamos bendecidos en muchos aspectos, y también en el aspecto del turismo, porque podemos ir observando lo que va sucediendo en otros sitios, con dolor porque uno no quiere que le suceda nada malo a nadie. Pero uno puede observar cómo se está moviendo el turismo a nivel mundial y ver cuáles son las cuestiones que están dando buenos resultados”, apuntó.
Y en ese mismo sentido, Cristian enfatizó: “En ese aspecto estamos bastante bendecidos porque podemos ir adelantándonos y estamos a tiempo en este momento para ir ordenándonos como comunidad. Esto lo tenemos que hacer en conjunto”.
“Acá no hay una situación que se pueda abordar desde un solo lugar, lo vamos a abordar desde todos los lugares y lo vamos a hacer en conjunto. Acá no hay uno que gane y otro que pierda. Acá estamos todos exactamente en el mismo lugar y queremos intentar salir de la mejor manera posible. Si ganamos, que ganemos todos y que todos demos nuestro mayor esfuerzo para que no tengamos dolor. Eso es lo que queremos”, completó sobre la necesidad de mantener la unión de la comunidad.
Asimismo, el intendente extendió la importancia del trabajo conjunto a los distintos municipios. “Estoy colaborando en el orden provincial y regional en materia de turismo con los distintos municipios y con el ministro de Producción y Turismo de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (Augusto Costa). Esto lo he hablado con el Gobernador (Axel Kicillof) así que estamos haciendo una mesa también con los destinos turísticos y la idea es que la respuesta que llevemos adelante no sea una respuesta de un solo destino, sino que sea una respuesta integral de todos los destinos de la Provincia”, explicó Cristian.
Para concluir con este tema dentro de la agenda para los meses restantes de 2020, el mandatario local confirmó que solicitó el inicio de trabajos en vista al verano. “Le indiqué a la Secretaría de Obras Públicas y a Servicios Públicos que comiencen los trabajos de cara al verano. No vamos a esperar a último momento, ni a ver qué sucede en materia epidemiológica, sino que ya vamos a arrancar con los trabajos para el disfrute. Así sean muchos turistas, pocos turistas o seamos nosotros, pero que nuestros servicios estén en condiciones de cara a esta próxima temporada”.
