La Municipalidad de La Costa inauguró el Mercado de Productos Costeros en la Terminal de Ómnibus de San Bernardo, ubicada en Av. San Bernardo y General Madariaga. En este sentido, se avanza en la consolidación de oficinas administrativas en las tres zonas del Partido de La Costa: al espacio ya existente en el Palacio Municipal de Mar del Tuyú (zona centro), se suma ahora esta nueva sede en zona sur, mientras que próximamente se prevé la apertura de un punto similar en zona norte.
A partir de la puesta en funcionamiento de esta oficina, se incorporó un área destinada a la exhibición y comercialización de productos locales, orientada especialmente a productores que, por su escala, aún no cuentan con un punto de venta propio.
El Mercado de Productos Costeros funciona bajo un esquema de comercialización directa, mediante el uso de billeteras virtuales y pagos con código QR, lo que permite que el ingreso por cada venta llegue de manera inmediata al productor, sin intermediarios.
En esta primera etapa, los productores que participan deben cumplir con requisitos como estar formalizados y contar con una cuenta bancaria a su nombre. Asimismo, se prioriza la inclusión de quienes no disponen de un local comercial propio.
La propuesta se irá ampliando de manera progresiva e incluye, a futuro, la incorporación de esquemas rotativos para distintos rubros como el textil y el ceramista.
El Mercado de Productos Costeros se complementa con las ferias productivas que se desarrollan durante todo el año en el distrito, que continúan siendo el espacio principal para rubros como artesanías y regalería, mientras que este nuevo punto estará orientado principalmente a alimentos, textiles y cosmética natural.
