La comunidad boliviana celebró la fiesta en honor a la Virgen de Urkupiña
La comunidad boliviana realizó este fin de semana la Fiesta de Urkupiña, que todos los años se lleva a cabo en Mar de Ajó. La celebración, que contó con la presencia del intendente Juan Pablo de Jesús, conjuga una veneración de la Virgen de Urkupiña, que es una advocación de la Virgen María Asunta, con una colorida fiesta popular.
Juan Pablo, padrino de la festividad, compartió junto a la comunidad la procesión que salió desde el Club Social y Deportivo Boliviano de Mar de Ajó hacia la Iglesia Santa María de Alacoque, lugar en el que se realizó una misa solemne.
Tras la marcha, la columna volvió al club donde las colectividades bolivianas de Mar de Ajó, Las Toninas, Mar del Tuyú y Villa Gesell festejaron con música, danzas típicas de Bolivia y del resto de Latinoamérica.
