Día Mundial del Ambiente: La Costa trabaja por el cuidado y fortalecimiento de la naturaleza
El secretario de Educación, Ambiente y Cuidado Animal, Leonardo Muñoz, acompañado por la directora de Ambiente, Viviana Oliva, visitaron el Vivero Municipal Cosme Argerich de San Clemente, espacio que será puesto en valor desde la perspectiva ambiental que propone el intendente Cristian Cardozo para el Partido de La Costa.
“Estuvimos visitando la zona de producción. La propuesta de Cristian es revitalizar la estación forestal en acuerdo con la Dirección Forestal de la provincia de Buenos Aires que nos brinda el apoyo técnico. También el intendente busca recuperar algunos espacios para que puedan ser disfrutados por toda la comunidad y los visitantes que eligen La Costa”, explicó Leonardo Muñoz.
“Queremos a su vez poner en valor la mirada en la naturaleza, en la colonia de pájaros que habitan en este espacio y de otros animales, y poder empezar a tener, con esa biodiversidad, un diálogo distinto en el cual podamos convivir, disfrutarlo y, por sobre todas las cosas, que sea para nuestros hijos un espacio educativo en donde poder conocer más sobre nuestra fauna y flora”, agregó el secretario de Educación, Ambiente y Cuidado Animal.
Por su parte, Viviana Oliva hizo referencia al nuevo paradigma en materia de cuidado y protección del medio ambiente en La Costa. “La visión de Cristian Cardozo propone incluir al medio ambiente dentro de la cuestión educativa en un paradigma que nos obliga a trabajar fuertemente sobre como venimos gestionando el ambiente y las prácticas que tenemos en el ambiente. Desde esta dirección estamos coordinando acciones en los siguientes ejes: el cuidado del frente marítimo, el bosque urbano, el humedal, la gestión de residuos urbanos y las energías renovables”.
Durante la recorrida, los funcionarios también recorrieron los senderos del bosque junto con el guardaparques, Gabriel Battaglia, para poder llevar adelante un reconocimiento de especies de árboles y pájaros.
