El homenaje comenzó en el monumento a Héctor Dufrechou, el marinero fallecido en Malvinas, ubicado en Mar de Ajó. Luego se dirigieron a Santa Teresita, donde se rindió homenaje al soldado Aldo Omar Ferreyra en el Polideportivo de Santa Teresita, que lleva su nombre. Y luego se colocó una ofrenda floral en la Plaza del Niño Jesús, frente a Bomberos Voluntarios de la localidad, para recordar al soldado José Luis Rodríguez.
Continuando con los reconocimientos, Cristian y Juan Pablo estuvieron en la Plaza Malvinas Argentinas de Las Toninas, para finalizar los homenajes en la Plaza 2 de Abril de la localidad de San Clemente.
En este marco, el ex combatiente costero, oriundo de San Clemente, Carlos González, manifestó: “Este año se vive de una forma particular pero eso no quita el sentimiento que nos une cada 2 abril para conmemorar a nuestros héroes y a los que dejaron su vida. Agradecemos que el intendente Cristian Cardozo y el diputado Juan Pablo de Jesús nos hayan acompañado, para nosotros es muy importante en medio de la cantidad de compromisos y obligaciones que tienen con esta pandemia del Coronavirus. Hace 38 años combatimos a un enemigo visible, hoy la sociedad está confrontando un enemigo invisible y tenemos que ganarle entre todos”, cerró emocionado.
