Tras el alta médica al paciente de COVID-19, Cristian reconoció al equipo de salud y llamó a continuar el aislamiento
El intendente del Partido de La Costa, Cristian Cardozo, visitó el Hospital Municipal de Santa Teresita para agradecer y reconocer la labor de todo el equipo de Salud que permitió la recuperación y el alta médica del único caso de COVID-19 que tuvo el distrito hasta el momento.
“Esta noticia nos da fuerzas y recuerda que el sacrificio vale la pena. No es momento de aflojar, tenemos que seguir adelante con todos los cuidados y convencidos de que vamos a ganar la pelea”, afirmó el mandatario local luego del encuentro en el centro de salud de la zona centro del distrito acompañado por el secretario de Salud, Daniel Creuso, médicos, enfermeros, enfermeras y todo el personal sanitario.
El paciente, oriundo de Quilmes y que había llegado de Europa antes de declararse el aislamiento social obligatorio, fue confirmado con COVID-19 el 23 de marzo último. Luego de las semanas de asistencia médica y habiendo presentado una evolución clínica muy favorable, al paciente se le tomaron las muestras de laboratorio que corroboraron el estado de salud actual. Así, tras los dos últimos hisopados consecutivos que dieron resultados negativos de COVID-19, recibió el alta clínica y de laboratorio.
Desde la Municipalidad de La Costa se continúa trabajando día a día en acciones integrales de prevención tanto sobre el espacio público como también sobre los hábitos de higiene personal y en los hogares. Además, se suma al dispositivo de emergencia la puesta en funcionamiento de servicios de asistencia, acompañamiento y contención para las familias y los adultos mayores, más los controles vehiculares y de tránsito que supervisan el cumplimiento del aislamiento social, preventivo y obligatorio.
