Mañana fumigarán en Casco Urbano de cara al inicio de la Fiesta Nacional Semana de Santos Vega: Te contamos todo lo que debes saber
Las tareas estarán a cargo de la Dirección de Servicios Públicos del municipio y alcanzarán a distintos sectores verdes del Casco Urbano.
Estos trabajos de cuidado de la salud de la población tienen como objetivo la proliferación de mosquitos en sectores donde pudiera haberse acumulado agua.
De esta forma, el municipio busca erradicar todas las posibilidades de focos infecciosos que pudieran afectar la salud de la población, la proliferación de mosquitos en los días de alta humedad, de lluvias o de intenso calor.
Por lo tanto, se solicita a los vecinos evitar arrojar en la vía pública residuos como ramas, pastos, chapas o escombros durante las próximas jornadas.
En tanto, para prevenir el Dengue, se recomienda:
• Eliminar todos los recipientes en desuso que puedan acumular agua (como latas, botellas, neumáticos).
• Dar vuelta los objetos que se encuentran en el exterior y pueden acumular agua cuando llueve (baldes, palanganas, tambores).
• Cambiar diariamente el agua de bebederos de animales, colectores de desagües de aire acondicionado o lluvia, dentro y fuera de la casa, cada 3 días. Si fuera posible, utilice en los floreros productos alternativos en lugar de agua (geles o arena húmeda).
• Mantener los patios y jardines desmalezados y destapar los desagües de lluvia de los techos.
• Tapar los tanques y recipientes que se usan para recolectar agua.
• Para evitar la exposición a los mosquitos se recomienda el uso de ropas de mangas largas, repelentes y mosquiteros.
• Es recomendable que las mujeres embarazadas adopten especialmente estas precauciones para evitar el contacto con los mosquitos vectores porque si contraen la enfermedad en el período próximo al parto pueden transmitir la infección al bebé en el momento del nacimiento.
