Juan de Jesús visitó el CAPS del barrio San Martín y destacó la importancia del vínculo con la comunidad
El Intendente del Partido de La Costa, Juan de Jesús, visitó el Centro de Atención Primaria de la Salud (CAPS) San Martín en San Clemente del Tuyú y destacó la importancia de estos espacios para atender las demandas y necesidad particulares de los vecinos y vecinas de cada barrio.
El CAPS se encuentra ubicado en Calle 54 esquina 39, donde también funciona el Centro Comunitario del barrio. Allí, De Jesús mantuvo un encuentro con el personal del lugar para conversar sobre la importante labor que llevan adelante.
“Estos espacios de atención primaria son donde se promociona la salud, donde se trabaja en la prevención y se construye un vínculo con la comunidad a través de la cercanía con el vecino. Por eso se debe tener la sensibilidad de percibir las necesidades de las personas que viven en nuestro barrio, para atender sus demandas y escuchar las propuestas”, remarcó el Intendente.
En este sentido, agregó: “Vengo recorriendo los Centros de Atención Primaria porque considero que al hospital vamos a recuperar la salud, pero la salud está en los barrios y tiene que ver con la calidad de vida de los vecinos, con los servicios, con la educación, la alimentación, la recreación, todo eso es la salud y es donde el Estado tiene que estar presente”.
Además, durante la charla con el personal del CAPS manifestaron su inquietud de realizar capacitaciones para brindar más y mejores servicios a los vecinos.
Cabe señalar que el CAPS se encuentra abierto de lunes a viernes de 8.00 a 16.00 y los vecinos y vecinas pueden acercarse para realizar distintos tipos de consultas.
En el lugar cuentan con el plan Remediar, que entrega medicamentos de forma gratuita. También hay Enfermería, Médico Clínico, Nutricionista y un consultorio de Psicología que no requiere derivación médica, simplemente las personas se pueden acercar y pedir un turno.
Asimismo, el personal brinda atención en el Centro Comunitario donde se realiza la entrega de las cajas alimentarias y hay una Trabajadora Social de lunes a viernes para asistir a las personas que lo necesiten.
