Nuevo comunicado de Repudio a Marcos Cotoco Garcia
Luego del envío del comunicado enviado el pasado 15 de julio, y que por motivos que desconocemos no fue difundido por la mayoría de los medios, seguidores el Edil Marcos García realizaron por este medio y redes sociales diferentes amenazas y mensajes cuasi mafiosos en los que indicaban que si realizábamos algún tipo de escrache o manifestación (que siempre manifestamos que serían pacificas), seriamos sacadas (sic) a patadas de La Costa. Entro otros improperios irreproducibles.
Lamentamos que no solo hayan sido simples seguidores, sino que también miembros de la lista que se presenta junto al Sr. Marcos García y en un llamativo y lamentable caso, una de las propinantes es mujer.
Nuestro representante legal el Dr. Alberto Freijo (011-15 6652 9196) es quien lleva adelante las denuncias que realizamos el pasado martes y que serán difundidas con los nombres de los denunciados y las evidencias de sus correos electrónico y perfiles de facebook, luego de las elecciones. Motiva esto el echo que nuestro movimiento no representa ni tiene preferencias por ningún candidato o partido político, y nuestras demandas trascienden cualquier elección. Lamentablemente nos toca movilizarnos por la situación ya manifestada, donde un funcionario público es quien ejercicio violencia de genero sobre otra funcionaria. Es nuestro mayor esfuerzo erradicar este tipo de conductas de la sociedad, y cuando son los funcionarios públicos que incurren en estos actos violentos o delictivos, no podemos si no repudiar con todas nuestras energías estos actos y marcarle a la sociedad que tipo de persona es al que posiblemente elijan para ocupar una función de representatividad.
Como habíamos indicado, hicimos extensivo nuestro reclamo a la Gobernadora Maria Eugenia Vidal, y si bien aún no fuimos recibidas, ya fuimos contactadas por uno de sus secretarios con el fin de coordinar la entrevista y entregarle en mano el repudio a la antes mencionada candidatura del Sr. Marcos García.
Como medidas de acción, queremos transmitirles a las vecinas y vecinos del partido de La Costa, que a manera de repudio y solidaridad con las victimas de violencia de genero, no reciban al Sr. Marcos Garcia o miembros de su lista en los ya conocidos timbreos, sin entrar en ningún tipo de discusión o explicación. De igual manera alentamos a las organizaciones locales a que se manifiesten pacíficamente como nos han expresado que quieren hacer espontáneamente, manteniendo nuestra política de no partidismo en las mismas. La mejor manera de erradicar estos problemas sociales, son apartándolos de nuestra vida cotidiana, y entendemos que esta es una manera de hacerlo.
Para el día jueves 10 de agosto hacemos un llamado a manifestarnos pacíficamente a las 19hs. El lugar se estará coordinando en la próxima semana ademas de la solicitud de autorización por parte de la Municipalidad del La Costa para realizar dicha movilización. Cabe destacar que esta movilización esta motivada por la indignación que produce la noticia de la postulación de una persona con los antecedentes de violencia que detallamos en el pasado comunicado.
Cabe destacar también que no permitiremos ningún tipo de aprovechamiento político de esta situación, ni banderas políticas como tampoco quisiéramos que candidatas de partidos opositores participen para no quitarle legitimidad a un serio y grave tema como la violencia de genero.
