Hazaña: es de Santa Teresita y en menos de 40 horas corrió 171 kilómetros en los Alpes de Francia, Italia y Suiza
Sebastián Bonissone, miembro de la Policía Bonaerense, con sede en la Comisaría 1 de Santa Teresita, cumplió el sueño de su vida en la ultramaratón más importante del mundo.
Sebastián Bonissone planificó correr el Ultra Trail Mont Blanc desde hace una década. Y para ello entrenó duro y participó de distintas ultramaratones en Balcarce, en la Patagonia, en la dura selva misionera y en las 100 millas de North Face de Santiago de Chile. Todo formaba parte de este objetivo: correr con 10 mil metros de altura los 171 kilómetros que recorrió entre viernes y sábado atravesando Francia, Italia y Suiza en los Alpes Europeos.
La oportunidad de viajar a formar parte de la ultramaratón más importante del mundo le salió a fines de 2019 y se preparó mentalmente y fisicamente para estar en agosto de 2020. Pero la pandemia truncó todo y tuvieron que pasar dos años hasta que por fin se le pudo dar.
La distancia de 171 kilómetros es como si Bonissone saliera de Mar de Ajó hacia Mar del Plata al trote, claro que en la llanura bonaerense y bordeando el mar seguramente lo completaría en menor tiempo. En esta exigente prueba, que participaron más de 3 mil atletas de todo el mundo, Sebastián corrió 39h04m19s para completar los 171 kilómetros.
Ocupó la posición número 6 entre los argentinos que fueron parte de esta competencia internacional
El oriundo de Santa Teresita, hijo de Roberto Bonissone, un conocido vecino de la localidad que tuvo muchos años el local de «Hielo Tito», en calle 4 y 30, llegó 755° entre los más de 3 mil participantes, y en el puesto 153° en su categoría entre 35 y 39 años. Además, entre los argentinos que viajaron y corrieron se ubicó en el 6° lugar de esta tabla de compatriotas.
Desde Santa Teresita, desde el Partido de La Costa y desde varios puntos de la Argentina la competencia pudo seguirse en vivo por Youtube y por una App del Ultrail, desde donde lo siguieron Florencia y Afra, su pareja e hija, además de amigos y familiares que fueron publicando mensajes de aliento y admiración para Bonissone.
En los primeros días de septiembre volverá a Santa Teresita, donde seguramente será recibido por la comunidad por su heroica travesía por los Alpes de Francia, Italia y Suiza.
QUÉ ES EL ULTRA TRAIL DE MONT BLANC
El Ultra-Trail de Mont-Blanc (denominado también UTMB) es el ultramaratón de montaña más importante del planeta. Tiene lugar una vez al año en los Alpes, atravesando Francia, Italia y Suiza, con una distancia de 171 kilómetros y un desnivel positivo de unos 10.000 metros, por lo que se la considera la carrera a pie de Trail running más prestigiosa del mundo.
Comenzar a correr por Mont-Blanc es sobre todo vivir una aventura interior, una experiencia única en la que cada participante tendrá que aprovechar sus puntos fuertes y superar sus límites físicos y mentales para cruzar la línea de meta. Este extraordinario viaje en el corazón del macizo permitirá que los remolques crucen valles y pasen en contacto con los picos más bellos, en un entorno alpino único en el mundo.
EL GANADOR FUE UN ESPAÑOL
El deportista español Kilian Jornet, de 34 años, consiguió la victoria en la Ultra Trail Mont Blanc, el que invirtió 19h49m30s marcando un nuevo récord para la prueba. De esta manera, el catalán ganó por cuarta vez esta ultramaratón, igualando en conquistas al francés François d’Haene.
El escolta del ganador Jornet fue el francés Mathieu Blanchard, que cubrió el trayecto en 19h54m50s.
Jornet es el primero en bajar de la barrera de las 20 horas en esta mítica prueba del trail. El precedente récord estaba en manos del también español Pau Capell: 20h19m en 2019.
