Sigue en marcha en La Costa el operativo que brinda servicio alimentario escolar en medio de la pandemia del COVID-19
En un importante trabajo conjunto entre el Consejo Escolar, la Municipalidad de La Costa y el gobierno Provincial, durante el mes de junio continuó la entrega de módulos alimentarios para brindar asistencia y acompañar a las familias de todo el distrito.
En este marco, en junio se distribuyeron un total de 19.500 bolsones de alimentos en 51 establecimientos educativos de toda La Costa. En detalle, se entregaron 3.948 en 19 Jardines de Infantes; 9.241 en 18 Escuelas Primarias; y 6.311 en 14 Escuelas Secundarias.
Cabe señalar que la entrega de bolsones fue implementada desde el inicio del aislamiento social para reemplazar el Servicio Alimentario Escolar y, de esta forma continuar brindando asistencia a los niños, niñas y adolescentes. En estos tres meses, se entregaron un total de 53.196 módulos: 15.196, en abril; 18.500, en mayo; y 19.500, en junio.
La entrega se realiza cada 15 días y se lleva adelante con un importante trabajo articulado entre la comunidad educativa, vecinos solidarios, el Consejo Escolar y la gestión del intendente Cristian Cardozo que, desde el inicio del aislamiento, colabora en el cuidado de la salud de las familias de La Costa llevando adelante todas las medidas de seguridad e higiene en cada una de las instancias del armado de los bolsones que luego son distribuidos en los establecimientos educativos.
Desde el Consejo Escolar informaron que el servicio llegó este mes a 3.443 alumnos de nivel inicial, con la entrega de 1.991 módulos alimentarios cada 15 días, lo cual representa una cobertura del 58 por ciento.
En cuanto al nivel primario se alcanzó a 8.629 estudiantes con 3.190 módulos alimentarios llegando a una cobertura del 56 por ciento. Y en lo que respecta a nivel secundario el alcance fue de 7.425 alumnos, con 3.190 módulos alimentos alcanzando una cobertura del 43 por ciento.
