Con una celebración especial se conmemoraron en La Costa los 204 años de la Declaración de la Independencia
Debido a la pandemia mundial y al distanciamiento social que se lleva adelante en el Partido de La Costa, se llevó a cabo una ceremonia distinta para conmemorar los 204 años de la Declaración de la Independencia, encabezada por el intendente Cristian Cardozo y en compañía del diputado Juan Pablo de Jesús y la senadora Gabriela Demaría.
El singular acto se llevó a cabo en la Plaza de Santa Teresita del Niño Jesús, frente a los Bomberos Voluntarios de la localidad, donde en cada 9 de Julio se realiza el tradicional desfile de instituciones locales y que es una verdadera fiesta de toda la comunidad. Fue transmitido en vivo por las redes sociales de Cristian y de la Municipalidad de La Costa.
“Quiero saludar a toda la comunidad porque un día como hoy de hace 204 años se declaraba en el Congreso de Tucumán nuestra Independencia. Una fecha fundamental en nuestra historia que nos marcó un camino, un futuro libre e independiente. Hoy honramos nuestra libertad sabiendo que conlleva responsabilidad. La amenaza de este virus atenta contra lo más valioso que hay en nuestra patria, que es la vida de cada uno de sus habitantes”, señaló Cristian.
En su discurso Cristian valoró la tarea que también realizaron las mujeres en esos años de sueños de libertad e independencia al citar que “estaba mirando estos días las imágenes del Congreso de Tucumán del 9 de julio de 1816 y observé que son todos hombres. Y siempre hablamos de los patriotas y tenemos que valorar el aporte de las mujeres de esa época que también fueron las patriotas del objetivo de conseguir ser libres e independientes”.
“Por eso hoy para hacer patria, es necesario cuidar al otro. Entonces hagamos patria. Más que nunca tenemos que pensar en quien tengo a mi lado y cuidarlo. Por eso hoy hacemos patria al colocarnos un tapaboca al salir de la casa, cuando una mamá o un papá le pone alcohol en gel en las manos a su hijo. Hacen patria quienes van a trabajar cada día y cumplen los protocolos sanitarios, o cuando al caminar por la calle se respetan las distancias, cuando eligen comprar en los comercios de cercanía, cuando las familias se ocupan de los chicos y sus tareas escolares”, remarcó el jefe comunal luego de izar la Bandera nacional con música en vivo a través del dúo formado por Gustavo Romagnoli en teclado y Daniel Ortiz en guitarra, quienes entonaron Aurora y el Himno Nacional Argentino.
Y prosiguió el intendente en su mensaje a la comunidad en esta fecha tan significativa para el sentir de los argentinos y argentinas: “Hacen patria cada uno de los costeros y costeras que desde el primer momento tomaron la responsabilidad de cuidarse sabiendo que así cuidaban a sus familias, a sus amigos, a sus vecinos, a su comunidad entera. Siento un profundo orgullo de nosotros, de nuestra comunidad.
