El Intendente De Jesús recorrió infraestructuras deportivas y culturales
El intendente del Partido de La Costa, Juan Pablo de Jesús, recorrió y supervisó el avance de dos infraestructuras que lleva adelante el gobierno municipal: el Centro Cultural de Mar de Ajó y el Polideportivo de Aguas Verdes.
Según anticipó el mandatario local, quien corroboró el estado avanzado de las obras, tanto la infraestructura del Centro Cultural como la del Polideportivo estarían terminadas antes de fin de año. Los trabajos sobre el espacio cultural de Mar de Ajó continuarán, según lo planificado, la semana próxima con la colocación del techo.
El Centro Cultural se ubica en Hipólito Yrigoyen y Sacconi y configura una obra de más de 2000 metros cuadrados donde funcionará el Centro Cultural zona sur, el Coro y el Ballet municipal y donde se dará espacio para la organización de convenciones que impulsen el turismo de reuniones. Además, el edificio se va complementar con una plaza seca que va a estar lindante al Centro Cultural, pegado a la Escuela, para que lo aprovechen los chicos y las familias. “También vamos a asfaltar esta cuadra, y la última de la Costanera para poder llegar por asfalto”, comentó el intendente.
«Apostamos muy fuertemente al deporte como una herramienta de generación de valores, de hábitos saludables para nuestros chicos, una herramienta vinculada a la solidaridad, la sana competencia, el encuentro», con estas palabras de Jesús explicaba la línea que enmarca a la activa política deportiva que se ejecuta en La Costa de la mano de la puesta en marcha de polideportivos.
Asimismo, recordó que este año se estarán en construcción cuatro polideportivos: el de San Bernardo, el de Villa Clelia, el de Aguas Verdes y el de Nueva Atlantis, cuya obra comenzará en breve.
«La apuesta es que el próximo año podamos tener 2 mil o 3 mil chicos más haciendo actividad deportiva. Hoy son más de 5 mil. La apuesta es que siga creciendo y que cada vez el deporte se viva con mayor intensidad en el Partido de La Costa», enfatizó el jefe comunal.
El Polideportivo de Aguas Verdes se encuentra en la calle Destructor San Juan entre Balizador Ushuaia y Avenida Crucero 9 de julio y comprende una superficie de más de 1200.
