Se realizó en San Clemente el Festival por el Mes Internacional del Orgullo LGBTIQ+
Pasado un nuevo 28 de junio, cuando se conmemora el Día Internacional del Orgullo Lésbico, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Inter, Queer, +; se realizó en La Costa, un nuevo festival autogestivo Organizado por la Asociación Civil en formación, Orgullo La Costa, que contó con la presencia de distintos representantes de la comunidad, artistas y políticos locales que dieron su apoyo a las consignas de lucha y reclamo por parte del colectivo.
A través de una transmisión en vivo, desde el balneario Punta Ignacio de San Clemente, con la participación sorpresiva del Intendente Juan de Jesús y del Secretario General de Gobierno, Gustavo Caruso, se hizo hincapié en las necesidades que pasa la comunidad LGBT de Argentina, en medio de un contexto nacional completamente adverso y un clima social con discursos de odio cada vez más fuertes.
Según manifestó Azul Ríos, Presidente de Orgullo La Costa, “los momentos que vivimos exigen posturas firmes frente a los ataques que hoy enfrenta la comunidad. Es la primera vez que nos acompaña un intendente en funciones y eso marca un apoyo fundamental para con nuestros reclamos, como el injusto cierre del INADI, los despidos de quienes forman parte del cupo laboral travesti-trans y los constantes mensajes de odio fomentados desde el poder Nacional que luego derivan en hechos espantosos como el triple lesbicidio de Barracas”.
Durante la jornada se desarrollaron también distintos números artísticos de la cultura drag, música en vivo y la lectura de un documento unificado por parte de la comisión directiva de la Asociación, haciendo entrega del mismo a los funcionarios municipales presentes en el encuentro.
Por su parte, el Intendente de La Costa recalcó la importancia de visibilizar al colectivo LGBTIQ+ ante la sociedad, como herramienta para educar y trabajar el respeto y la empatía frente a los tiempos violentos que corren.
