la Costa tiene una Nueva Cooperativa de Cerveza Artesanal de
Un grupo de emprendedores locales dio vida a la planta productora de cerveza artesanal que fue recientemente inaugurada en Santa Teresita. De manera gradual, el proyecto comenzará a lanzar sus actividades comerciales.
Las cervecerías Inaf Laiken, Venner, Karnak, Biirka y Roster son las que conforman el núcleo productivo llamado Wara, con la idea de trabajar asociadamente para ser una cooperativa autogestiva, responsable de la producción de cerveza artesanal local.
Desde el inicio, el grupo trabaja de forma conjunta con la Secretaría de Producción y Desarrollo de la Municipalidad de La Costa en el acompañamiento del proceso de conformación de la Cooperativa, como así también en la capacitación en aspectos productivos, identidad y de marca local, comercialización y estudio de mercado, a través de la articulación con organismos nacionales, provinciales y locales como el Ministerio de Agroindustria, el INTI, INTA, y la Universidad Atlántida Argentina.
En la inauguración estuvieron presentes el Secretario Privado de la Municipalidad de La Costa, Cristian Escudero; el Secretario de Producción y Desarrollo, Gustavo Caruso; el Secretario de Turismo, Rodrigo Torre; el presidente del Honorable Concejo Deliberante, Ricardo Daubagna; además de concejales y autoridades locales.
Durante el evento de lanzamiento, Daubagna hizo entrega de la declaración de Interés Productivo y Turístico para el grupo de emprendedores de la Cooperativa Wara. Al mismo tiempo, Caruso anunció que se llevará adelante un programa de fortalecimiento productivo de la actividad, que acompañará no sólo a este proyecto, sino a todos los productores existentes del rubro.
Desde el punto de vista turístico se trabaja con la secretaría de Turismo local en la conformación de un circuito cervecero que favorezca también al rubro gastronómico. Asimismo, se articula con la secretaría de Ordenamiento Urbano, a través de su dirección de Bromatología, para los aspectos sanitarios del establecimiento de producción.
Cada una de las marcas cerveceras que componen a la cooperativa tiene un historial desde 2008, con participación activa en diversas fiestas locales y regionales tales como el Paseo de la Cerveza (Santa Teresita), Fiesta de la Cerveza y la Picada (Uribelarrea), Fiesta de la Guitarra (Dolores) y la Santos Vega (General Lavalle), entre otras.
Progresivamente, Wara ampliará su trabajo a la producción y venta en barriles, botellas y growler, venta de insumos a Home Brewer, venta de equipos para la fabricación de cerveza, capacitaciones y especializaciones, más el alquiler de espacio y equipos para la fabricación de la bebida
