CRISTIAN RECORRIÓ EL NUEVO ESPACIO DEL SERVICIO DE SALUD MENTAL DEL PARTIDO DE LA COSTA
El intendente del Partido de La Costa, Cristian Cardozo, recorrió las obras de refacción y acondicionamiento que se llevaron adelante en una remodelación integral del espacio del Servicio de Salud Mental que funciona junto al Centro de Atención Primaria de la Salud (CAPS) del barrio Las Quintas de Santa Teresita.
«Mantuvimos un encuentro con el equipo del área de Salud Mental, donde estuvimos analizando todo el trabajo llevado adelante en la etapa más difícil de la pandemia y los desafíos por delante en la actualidad», afirmó Cristian luego de una reunión con las integrantes del área.
Con el objetivo de seguir sumando y acercando los servicios de salud a la comunidad, la gestión de Cristian continúa mejorando la infraestructura y de esta manera se suma al fortalecimiento del sistema de salud municipal este nuevo espacio reacondicionado del Servicio de Salud Mental.
Este espacio contará con nuevos consultorios, sala de espera, cocina, y además se colocaron pisos, techo y aberturas nuevas en un espacio de confort para el personal médico y los pacientes.
“Es un área que siempre trabajó de manera interdisciplinaria, con redes en la comunidad, en la perspectiva de los derechos de nuestra comunidad y hoy celebramos este gran hecho de poder contar con este espacio renovado”, señaló la médica psiquiatra, Dra. Claudia Terpai, que forma parte del equipo de profesionales del Servicio de Salud Mental de la Municipalidad de La Costa.
FORTALECIMIENTO DEL SISTEMA DE SALUD DEL PARTIDO DE LA COSTA
Además de sumarse personal médico y especializado, durante la gestión del intendente Cristian Cardozo se adquirió mobiliario y equipamiento de última generación que permitió brindar atención de calidad para atravesar la emergencia sanitaria.
Es por eso que se incorporaron 6 ambulancias de alta complejidad, más de 30 respiradores, equipos de última tecnología para ecografías y radiografías digitales, un resonador magnético nuclear, más 29 camas de internación, 20 monitores multiparamétricos, equipo de rayos para odontología, cámaras de monitoreo de pacientes en terapia intensiva y equipamiento para procesar resultados de PCR en el Hospital Modular de San Bernardo.
También en el Hospital de Mar de Ajó se construyó una nueva cocina y se amplió el área de terapia intensiva y la capacidad de internación de pacientes.
En el Hospital de Santa Teresita se amplió el área de internación para pacientes leves de Covid-19 y se instaló el servicio de agua. Asimismo, en el Hospital de San Clemente se restauró el sector de guardia y de internación y se instaló un nuevo sillón odontológico.
Además, se reacondicionaron los 14 Centros de Atención Primaria de la Salud distribuidos en las localidades del Partido de La Costa y se inauguró el Hospital Modular de San Bernardo.
