Martín Poustis: “Es necesario pasar del paradigma del subsidio al del trabajo

El titular de la cartera nacional se refirió al programa Potenciar Trabajo, en una entrevista que Viviana Canosa le realizara en su programa en A24, y destacó que “la gente tiene que trabajar en la construcción, en la producción de alimentos, en la actividad textil, cuidando personas o en el reciclado, pero tiene que trabajar”.
Este programa del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social unifica a los programas Hacemos Futuro y Salario Social Complementario en una única iniciativa y tiene como objetivo contribuir a mejorar el empleo y generar nuevas propuestas productivas a través del desarrollo de proyectos socio-productivos, socio-comunitarios, socio-laborales y la terminalidad educativa.
En La Costa, el Movimiento Evita lleva adelante experiencias ligadas a esta iniciativa que “van desde espacios comunitarios para la primera infancia y para la recuperación de adicciones, pasando por cuadrillas vinculadas a la construcción y mejoramiento de viviendas. También hay grupos vinculados a la promoción de la salud y a la prevención de violencia por razones de género”.
Sobre el trabajo que se viene desarrollando, Martín Poustis agregó que desde lo productivo hay “pequeños talleres textiles, muchas PUPAS (Pequeñas Unidades de Producción de Alimentos), y experiencias de agricultura familiar como huertas y de pescadores artesanales”.
Mediante Potenciar Trabajo, el Estado nacional le paga la mitad del salario mínimo a una persona por 20 horas de trabajo semanal. Si el trabajador no cumple con la contraprestación, el primer mes se reduce el dinero que recibe al 50% y luego es dado de baja del programa.
