Hasta anoche, había 56 casos confirmados de coronavirus en la Argentina. Prácticamente la mitad fueron reportados en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, aunque también hubo positivos en otros ocho distritos, desde Tierra del Fuego hasta Chaco, y hay pacientes bajo estudio en todas las provincias del país con excepción de Misiones. Estos datos se desprenden de un informe realizado por el ministerio de Salud, que se discutió ayer por la tarde en el encuentro que mantuvo el presidente Alberto Fernández con su gabinete, el gobernador bonaerense, Axel Kicillof, y el jefe de gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.AYER 16 DE MARZO.
Entre los 56 casos, la edad media es de 44 años y el rango de edad va desde cuatro, el más pequeño, a 82, el mayor. Sólo catorce de las personas son mayores de 60 años y por lo tanto están en un grupo de riesgo. Además, según este reporte, el 70 por ciento de los afectados, 39 en total, son varones, mientras que solamente 17, el 30 por ciento, corresponde a mujeres. Al día de hoy, tres pacientes requieren cuidados intensivos, dos fallecieron y cinco ya recibieron el alta. Hay cuatro personas no diagnosticadas que fallecieron con infecciones respiratorias y se encuentran bajo estudio.
El distrito con mayor número de casos, la ciudad de Buenos Aires, significa casi la mitad del total, con 27 de los 56 casos confirmados hasta ahora. El otro distrito con una cantidad significativa de reportados es la provincia de Buenos Aires, que tiene doce hasta ahora. Chaco tiene siete casos, uno de ellos mortal, Córdoba tiene tres y Tierra del Fuego dos. En tanto, Entre Ríos, Río Negro, San Luis y Santa Fe, con un caso cada uno, completan el panorama. De esos distritos, sólo CABA, Buenos Aires y Chaco presentaron contagio local; el resto sólo pacientes que habían viajado a zonas de riesgo.
Respecto a la procedencia de esos pacientes confirmados que fueron traídos desde el exterior, se registraron afectados que llegaron de ocho países distintos en cuatro continentes. La mayoría de los casos tienen origen europeo: 21 personas llegaron de España infectados por el coronavirus, mientras que trece lo hicieron desde Italia, dos de Francia, uno de Alemania y uno de Reino Unido. Además, cinco casos reportados llegaron desde los Estados Unidos y dos de Israel. Por último, uno de los informados había viajado por Turquía y Egipto antes de regresar, enfermo, a la Argentina.
