El Hogar de Protección de Mujeres trabaja en el acompañamiento de víctimas de violencia
El intendente del Partido de La Costa, Cristian Cardozo, visitó el Hogar de Protección de Mujeres en la localidad de Aguas Verdes, donde junto a la secretaria de Relaciones con la Comunidad, Manuela Castro, evaluaron el trabajo que se realiza desde este espacio para la contención de víctimas de violencia de género.
Durante la jornada mantuvieron una reunión con el equipo interdisciplinario, las Trabajadoras Sociales y las operadoras del Hogar para avanzar sobre la labor que se realiza para acompañar a las mujeres.
“Acompañamos a estas mujeres que sufren situaciones extremas de violencia y tratando de que su paso por este lugar les brinde posibilidades de crecimiento, empoderamiento y superación personal. Generalmente ingresan con una orden judicial y la permanencia varía. Se busca resolver cuestiones como el hogar, el empleo, buscar redes familiares y de contención, de acuerdo a cada caso particular”, explicó Manuela Castro.
Además, remarcó que La Costa atraviesa situaciones particulares durante la temporada por la gran cantidad de gente que llega al distrito desde distintos puntos del país. “Durante el mes de enero tuvimos 10 mujeres en el hogar que eran de otras provincias y de la provincia de Buenos Aires. En temporada siempre aumenta la cantidad de mujeres que tenemos en el Hogar, por eso el dispositivo siempre está alerta y con todas las herramientas para dar respuesta a estas situaciones”, detalló.
