La Costa conmemoró el Día Nacional de la Memoria por la Verdad y la Justicia
La comunidad del Partido de La Costa conmemoró el Día Nacional de la Memoria por la Verdad y la Justicia con un acto central realizado como es tradicional en la Avenida Costanera y calle 32 de Santa Teresita.
Junto a vecinos, representantes de instituciones, familiares y amigos de desaparecidos costeros, en el lugar se hicieron presentes el secretario de Desarrollo Social de la Municipalidad de La Costa, Facundo Nores, el director de Derechos Humanos, Alejandro Laregina, el presidente del Concejo Deliberante, Ricardo Daubagna y funcionarios municipales.
En primer lugar hizo uso de la palabra la hija de Esther Balestrino, Ana María Careaga, quien agradeció “el cuidado que le dan a estos espacios de memoria que son de toda la comunidad”. A su tiempo, Laregina manifestó: “Estamos acá porque hace muchos años el intendente Juan de Jesús decidió crear el área de Derechos Humanos en la Municipalidad de La Costa, un área que no existía y que en muchos municipios de la provincia no existe”.
Por estos días continuará la Semana de la Memoria . En este marco, este lunes llegará a la Escuela Secundaria Nº 7 de Las Toninas a las 13.30; mientras que mañana martes será en la Escuela de Educación Secundaria Nº 10 de Mar de Ajó y el miércoles en la Escuela de Educación Secundaria Nº 2 de Santa Teresita, ambos desde las 8.30.
Finalmente, las actividades por la Semana de la Memoria culminarán el miércoles 27 en el Espacio Multicultural de San Bernardo (San Juan 2834) con una muestra de artistas regionales “Ni ocultas, ni olvidadas” desde las 17.00 y la proyección de un documental presentado por la periodista Cynthia García, desde las 19.00.
