La CTEP realizará 14 ollas populares por la Emergencia Alimentaria
Los Movimientos Populares, nucleados en CTEP, Barrios de Pie y la CCC, que se encuentran en alerta y movilización llevando adelante un plan de lucha bajo la consigna “Fuera el FMI. Basta de Hambre”, reclamarán este miércoles la Emergencia alimentaria, realizando ollas populares en todo el país. En nuestro distrito, la jornada se llevará adelante en más de 14 unidades barriales donde funcionan comedores y merenderos comunitarios.
La medida se da frente a la falta de avance del Proyecto de Ley de Emergencia Alimentaria, que se encuentra en el Congreso desde hace varios meses. Por esa razón, se solicita su tratamiento urgente para afrontar la crisis social que golpea duramente sobre las familias más humildes, comprometiendo incluso la posibilidad de alimentarse.
“Hace varios meses venimos advirtiendo el padecimiento de las familias en las barriadas de todo el país, y en La Costa la problemática se potencia ante la estacionalidad y la falta de políticas de producción y empleo para los residentes. Las autoridades locales, que en conversaciones informales se muestran con preocupación por esta situación social, deberían conformar una mesa de trabajo para afrontar la crisis convocando a los Movimientos Populares, que somos quienes estamos todos los días en el territorio”, manifestó Miguel D’amico, Secretario General de la CTEP local.
