El jueves pasado, Alejandro Martínez y Martin Poustis, integrantes del Instituto Producir Igualdad, presentaron un proyecto de resolución en el Honorable Concejo Deliberante del Partido de La Costa, solicitando el rechazo del desfinanciamiento al Sistema Nacional de Bomberos Voluntarios, generado por el incumplimiento del Poder Ejecutivo a la Ley 25.054, mediante la cual las entidades reciben el subsidio que permite solventar un servicio público tan esencial para la sociedad.
El esquema presentado, plantea la preocupación acerca de la medida tomada por el gobierno nacional, y advierte que “no se puede poner en riesgo la protección de la seguridad siniestral de nuestros pueblos, quienes confían y cuidan de este Sistema, y a quienes los Bomberos Voluntarios intentan por todos los medios no dejar de asistir”.
Asimismo, a través de una nota a Ricardo Daubagna, presidente del recinto, solicitaron el pronto tratamiento del proyecto, planteando que hay una reducción del subsidio anual de un 40 % respecto al año anterior. Además, señalan que, a días de operar el vencimiento que dispone la Ley 25.054 para la transferencia de los fondos, no ha sido depositado ni un solo centavo de los $962.489.516 previstos para el 2018.
“Este es nuestro aporte, seguramente perfectible, por eso lo pusimos a consideración del cuerpo legislativo, para que le realice las enmiendas que considere necesarias. Los Bomberos Voluntarios son sin duda, una de las instituciones con más legitimidad en nuestra comunidad. Por eso confiamos en que el conjunto de los concejales de La Costa, van a respaldar acompañando esta iniciativa” aseguró Poustis en sus redes sociales.
