Patinadoras costeras viajarán a Córdoba para competir en los Nacionales
El intendente Juan Pablo de Jesús recibió a las deportistas de las Escuelas Municipales de Patín previo al viaje que realizarán a La Falda, en la provincia de Córdoba, para participar del Torneo Nacional de Patín, Categoría C.
Ayer mismo partieron las jovencitas rumbo al nuevo desafío en el que representarán a La Costa: María Eugenia Raffo (Categoría 3ª C Mayores), Valentina Palacios (Categoría 2ª C 15 años), Renata Hernández y Martina Rotondo (ambas en la categoría 1ª C). Para llegar a la instancia nacional, el grupo de patinadoras costeras logró clasificar entre las cinco mejores en el torneo regional que tuvo lugar en la ciudad de Caseros.
Para la categoría 1ª C, la más alta de la competencia en niñas de 12 años, tan sólo compiten 26 patinadoras de todo el país y dos de ella son costeras. La competencia que ya comenzó, contará con las actuaciones de las atletas locales este viernes y el próximo lunes. En caso de una presentación exitosa, tal como todo lo indica y de acuerdo a las expectativas, participarían en la final el martes 20.
Presente durante el encuentro, el director general de Deportes, Diego Pedrós, precisó que sólo en la disciplina de patín artístico hay más de 500 chicos entrenando en La Costa y destacó la importancia del apoyo municipal.
El funcionario municipal adjudicó las destacadas performances en distintas disciplinas al funcionamiento de las Escuelas Municipales de Deporte. «Es un trabajo que venimos haciendo desde el 2007 y desde el 2009, que creamos las Escuelas Municipales. Los resultados están llegando de manera constante. No sólo en Patín, ahora tenemos a tres chicos que nos van a representar a Argentina en el Mundial de Taekwondo», contó Pedrós.
Las Escuelas Municipales de Patín funcionan en San Clemente (martes y jueves de 14.00 a 17.00), en Mar de Ajó Norte (lunes, miércoles y viernes de 18.30 a 21.00) y en el barrio Las Quintas de Santa Teresita (martes y viernes de 16.00 a 18.00).
