Este sábado se realizará la Maratón “Malvinas Nos Une” en Costa del Este
Este sábado 11 se llevará a cabo la maratón “Malvinas Nos Une”, organizada por la Municipalidad de La Costa junto a la Cancillería.
La jornada apunta a la promoción del deporte y busca contribuir a la construcción de memoria colectiva y concientización acerca de los derechos de soberanía que Argentina tiene sobre las Islas Malvinas.
Esta carrera, enmarcada en el circuito La Costa Corre del verano 2023, se desarrollará en tres modalidades: 1K (infantil), 5K (recreativa) y 10K (competitiva).
La inscripción, libre y gratuita, se podrá realizar el mismo día de la competición a partir de las 9.00 en Los Pensamientos 378. La largada, en tanto, está prevista para las 18.00.
Los participantes recibirán un kit que incluye una remera con la leyenda “Malvinas Nos Une”. En la zona de largada, asimismo, se instalará una muestra sobre Malvinas que podrá ser visitada por la comunidad en general. Esta exposición estará a cargo de la Secretaría de Malvinas, Antártida y Atlántico Sur, dependiente de Cancillería.
Los Cascos Blancos, por otra parte, serán parte del evento con un puesto sanitario y otro de socorrismo, trabajando de forma coordinada con el área de Salud de la Municipalidad de La Costa. De este modo se garantizará una rápida respuesta frente a eventuales emergencias.
También se anuncia la presencia de una banda militar que acompañará la llegada de los corredores y la entrega de premios.
Cabe destacar que, durante este verano 2023, en el Partido de La Costa ya se disputaron de manera libre y gratuita cuatro fechas de La Costa Corre (dos en San Bernardo, una en Santa Teresita y otra en Costa del Este), con una gran concurrencia de atletas profesionales y amateurs.
