La Costa participó con un stand propio en el Meet Up Argentina, para posicionarse como sede de turismo de reuniones, congresos y convenciones
La Municipalidad de La Costa continúa trabajando para impulsar al sector turístico como motor de la economía, y en esta oportunidad, miembros de la secretaría de Turismo local, y prestadores locales del sector privado participaron del evento Meet Up Argentina, donde se trabaja para fomentar el turismo de reuniones en toda la Argentina.
Las actividades se desarrollaron en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires en tres jornadas entre el martes 10 y hoy jueves 12, donde participaron 17 municipios bonaerenses y donde el Partido de La Costa tuvo su propio stand entre los dispuestos por las provincias argentinas. Del evento participaron ministros y secretarios de Turismo de todas las provincias y de municipios bonaerenses y contó con la presencia del ministro de Turismo y Deportes de la Nación, Matías Lammens.
Meet Up Argentina es el lugar en el que convergen los protagonistas de la industria de reuniones, un espacio para que los destinos promocionen sus lugres como sede, organizadores, prestadores de servicios, y para que los clientes creen nuevos vínculos y oportunidades de negocios.
Cabe destacar que desde la gestión del intendente Cristian Cardozo se viene trabajando para posicionar al Partido de La Costa como sede del turismo de reuniones y eventos, para potenciar al sector público y privado.
En esta oportunidad, el Partido de La Costa contó con un stand propio dentro del centro de exposiciones y también fue parte del stand de la provincia de Buenos Aires, donde se promocionan los distintos destinos.
“Participamos junto con el Ente de Turismo y prestadores privados que ofrecen sus servicios para este tipo de actividades, que tienen determinadas particularidades y exigencia específicas para lo cual el Partido de La Costa está altamente capacitado”, señaló la secretaria de Turismo de la Municipalidad de la Costa, Mónica Portela, quien estuvo acompañada en el Meet Up Argentina por el subsecretario de Desarrollo y Promoción Turística, Cristian Escudero; y el presidente del Edetur, Ezequiel Caruso, además de prestadores locales.
A lo largo de las jornadas, los prestadores del Partido de La Costa tuvieron más de 25 reuniones con representantes del sector de turismo de reuniones de distintos puntos del país que están buscando otros destinos.Cabe destacar que para alcanzar este objetivo se trabaja en tres ejes fundamentales que son la capacitación de los prestadores locales para ofrecer más y mejores servicios, la potenciación del sector aplicando valor agregado y la captación de un nuevo público de visitantes. El trabajo del Municipio de La Costa va en sintonía con lo propuesto por la provincia de Buenos Aires, desde donde se impulsó a los distritos bonaerenses para que se postulen como destinos sedes de congresos, convenciones y eventos corporativos, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
