El nuevo edificio, que abrirá al público desde este viernes 14, de lunes a viernes de 8.00 a 17.00, está ubicado en calle 17 entre 34 y 35 de Santa Teresita, al lado de la Terminal de Ómnibus y la Unidad de Gestión Municipal de la localidad.
“Nuestro proyecto principal es mejorarle la vida a los vecinos y las vecinas, facilitarles la accesibilidad a los servicios. Es un edificio que tiene muchísimas comodidades, con una sala de espera para 100 personas. Así que van a estar muy cómodos”, señaló Cardozo, acompañado también por la senadora provincial, Gabriela Demaria, funcionarios municipales, trabajadores y trabajadoras de la Oficina de Licencias de Conducir, vecinos y vecinas.

Y agregó: “Es un orgullo formar parte de este proyecto que en comunidad nos hace seguir creciendo y construyendo el municipio que soñamos. Los invito a que sigamos defendiendo y cuidando cada avance y cada paso de desarrollo que damos en el Partido de La Costa”.
Por su parte, el diputado Juan Pablo de Jesús destacó las notables mejoras que tuvo este servicio que ofrece la Municipalidad de La Costa: “Ya se redujeron los tiempos para la entrega de turnos, lo mismo para hacer el trámite y esto tiene que ver con la posibilidad de contar con nuevas tecnologías. Ahora sumamos otra impresora para las licencias y también un auto y una moto para que quienes no tengan su vehículo puedan contar con ellos para hacer la prueba de manejo. La idea es facilitar el trámite a las y los costeros”, explicó.
Y adelantó que está planificado poder contar con una infraestructura similar en otros puntos del Partido de La Costa. “La idea es avanzar a futuro con una oficina de estas características en San Clemente, que podría funcionar en la nueva Casa de la Provincia, y otra oficina en zona sur para que no tengan que trasladarse de un lugar a otro en el distrito”, indicó Juan Pablo de Jesús.
Por su parte, el director general de Licencias de Conducir y Modernización, Alvaro Rossi, remarcó que actualmente este nuevo espacio “tiene la capacidad de dar cerca de 200 turnos diarios, ya que también seguiremos atendiendo en el turno tarde. Ahora estamos con espacio para seguir trabajando de esa misma manera, pero más cómodos. Eso nos permite también que el ciudadano pueda sacar su turno inmediatamente de un día para otro y no tenga que esperar”.
“Cristian nos había propuesto empezar a modernizar el área y lo primero que hicimos fue el WhatsApp que nos permitió hacer el trámite más ágil e iniciarlo a través de ese medio sin necesidad de andar llevando la documentación. Va a haber más box de atención y eso va a hacer que el trámite sea más rápido”, agregó Rossi.
