EL PLAN DE DOCUMENTACIÓN ALCANZÓ EL RÉCORD DE 10 MIL DNI ENTREGADOS EN LAS UNIDADES PENITENCIARIAS DE LA PROVINCIA
El ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos de la Provincia, Julio Alak, junto a la ministra de Gobierno, Cristina Alvarez Rodríguez, entregaron documentos de identidad a privados de la libertad de la Unidad 35 de Magdalena, alcanzando un récord histórico al distribuir gratuitamente más de 10 mil DNI entre 2021 y 2022.
El plan de documentación impulsado por el ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, juntos al Ministerio de Gobierno logró quintuplicar en un año y medio la cantidad de trámites realizados en 2019 por la gestión anterior. Además de acreditar la identidad de internos e internas abrió la puerta de acceso a otros derechos fundamentales para la inclusión social, como la salud, la educación y la capacitación laboral.
Junto a la tramitación y entrega del DNI, el plan incluyó la gestión de documentos de personas nunca registradas (NN), partidas de nacimiento, cambios de género, reconocimientos de hijos e hijas, rectificaciones y certificaciones de documentación.
El ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Julio Alak, afirmó que “el derecho identitario de las personas privadas de su libertad, como sucede con la educación, la formación y la inserción laboral, ha demostrado que favorece a reducir los índices de reincidencia de las personas que recuperan su libertad”.
Alak destacó que “estamos seguros que alcanzada una inclusión efectiva se contribuye a mejorar la calidad de vida en los sectores vulnerables, pero también de toda la sociedad, al fortalecer las políticas de prevención delictiva y de seguridad ciudadana”.
Por su parte Alvarez Rodríguez dijo que “hoy celebramos la entrega de más de 10 mil DNI gratuitos en contexto de encierro. Un hecho muy importante que permite el proceso de revinculación de las personas detenidas y garantiza el derecho a la identidad, puerta de entrada a otros derechos fundamentales”.
“Este logro fue posible a partir del trabajo conjunto entre ambos ministerios, y con el rol fundamental del Registro Provincial de las Personas, que está presente en cada momento de la vida y es muy importante que lo siga haciendo aún en contextos de encierro”, afirmó la Ministra.
Luego de la entrega de documentos los funcionarios fueron testigos del casamiento de Cristian y Micaela, el cual fue oficiado por la jueza de Paz Andrea Pilar Giménez. La pareja fue acompañada por familiares y autoridades del Servicio Penitenciario Bonaerense (SPB).
Entre los trámites más relevantes se destacan:
• 36 DNI entregados a personas NN privadas de la libertad, que le otorgan certeza a su situación procesal y los convierte en ciudadanos de la Nación.
• 44 DNI entregados a menores de edad.
• 549 trámites de filiación de niños y niñas que pudieron iniciar el proceso de revinculación familiar.
• 16 DNI entregados a personas transgénero.
• Se realizaron de 135 casamientos, incluyendo matrimonios igualitarios.
En contexto de encierro el plan documentario constituye la llave fundamental para avanzar con programas educativos integrales como “Mas Trabajo, Menos Reincidencia”, destinados a educar, capacitar y vincularla la población penal con su municipio, su familia y la actividad laboral una vez cumplida la condena.
