Luego de la campaña de vacunación antirrábica gratuita, que recorrió los barrios de La Costa y que también se ofreció en las veterinarias de las localidades, ya están disponibles los primeros turnos programados de castraciones para de perros y gatos, que comenzarán a realizarse en San Clemente y que ya se pueden solicitar desde www.lacosta.gob.ar ingresando en Turno castraciones perros y gatos
Esta campaña, impulsada por la gestión del intendente Cristian Cardozo, está destinada a perros y gatos de ambos sexos de más de 6 meses de edad, sin necesidad de haber tenido algún celo o crías. Al momento de realizar el procedimiento, el animal deberá tener 12 horas de ayuno de sólidos y líquidos.
Además, se deberá llevar una manta o sábana para trasladar al perro o gato dormido una vez que concluya la cirugía, y en especial en el caso de los gatos transportarlos de manera tal que eviten poner nervioso al felino y complicar el accionar de los profesionales de la dirección de Cuidado Animal antes de aplicar la anestesia pre quirúrgica.
Se recuerda que las personas que lleven a sus mascotas que deben llevar tapabocas y tener en cuenta todas las medidas preventivas para cuidar la salud de la comunidad.
A partir del próximo martes 18 comenzará la nueva campaña de castraciones gratuitas, que arrancará por la localidad de San Clemente, con turnos programados entre las 9.00 y las 14.20.
