El intendente De Jesús supervisó la obra en la Escuela Primaria Nº 12 de Mar de Ajó
El intendente Juan de Jesús, junto a la Secretaria de Educación, Amancay López, recorrió la Escuela Primaria Nº 12 «Azucena Villaflor» de Mar de Ajó, donde se están llevando adelante obras de refacción integral.
Según manifestó Amancay López, «En 2022, con la implementación de la doble jornada, se construyeron aulas adecuadas para esa modalidad. Ahora estamos supervisando casi la finalización de esta obra tan necesaria. Antes teníamos entre 80 y 90 alumnos, y hoy contamos con 350, todos almorzando en la escuela».
Y añadió: «La obra mejora significativamente el espacio donde comen los niños y también el área de trabajo de los auxiliares. Esta es una inversión importante por parte de la Provincia de Buenos Aires y la Municipalidad de La Costa, y esperamos inaugurarla a principios de agosto».
Por su parte, la directora de la institución, Carina Pafundi, explicó que el Intendente en persona supervisó junto a profesionales del área todo el avance de la obra y evaluó posibles ampliaciones según los espacios operativos de la escuela.
«La obra lleva varios meses en ejecución. Durante las vacaciones de invierno se está trabajando en la parte más compleja, que incluye la instalación de gas y cañerías, y se realizarán las pruebas necesarias para poner en funcionamiento la ampliación del comedor» concluyó la Directora de la Institución.
