El Partido de La Costa será sede los Juegos Deportivos Universitarios de Playa 2020 producto de un trabajo conjunto entre la Municipalidad, la Federación del Deporte Universitario Argentino (Fedua) y la Universidad Atlántida Argentina, que permitirá que estudiantes universitarios de distintos puntos de Argentina, Uruguay, Chile y Brasil lleguen al distrito para participar del importante evento deportivo.
Luego de una reunión en la sede de Mar de Ajó de la Universidad Atlántida Argentina con el rector de la institución, Amado Zogbi, y el presidente de Fedua, Emiliano Ojea, el secretario de Relaciones Institucionales de la Municipalidad, Cristian Cardozo, confirmó que en marzo se desarrollará por primera vez el evento en La Costa, con variadas disciplinas deportivas.
“En el próximo mes de marzo el Partido de La Costa va a ser sede de los Juegos Universitarios, anexando a los juegos modalidades de playa. Así que todas las universidades del país van a sumar estas nuevas disciplinas que tienen que ver con el beach handball, beach futbol, beach tenis y distintas disciplinas más”, explicó Cardozo tras el fructífero encuentro.
Y completó: “Estamos felices por nuestra comunidad, orgullosos y con mucha responsabilidad para trabajar con todo el equipo de la Municipalidad, con todo el equipo de la Universidad y con toda nuestra comunidad para ser muy buenos anfitriones y que toda Argentina y quienes lleguen de países vecinos se lleven muy lindos recuerdos e inolvidables momentos de lo que se va a vivir en marzo”.
