CRISTIAN CARDOZO DESAYUNÓ CON CHICOS Y CHICAS DEL PARTIDO DE LA COSTA PARA SEGUIR CONCIENTIZANDO SOBRE EL DÍA MUNDIAL DE LA DIABETES
En el marco de lo que será este 14 de noviembre el Día Mundial de la Diabetes, el intendente del Partido de La Costa, Cristian Cardozo, mantuvo un encuentro y compartió un desayuno con chicos y chicas del Partido de La Costa, y familiares miembros de la Asociación Diabetes de La Costa, como parte de las actividades para visibilizar y concientizar sobre esta enfermedad.
«Hoy nos anticipamos al Día Mundial de la Diabetes, que será este domingo, y desayunamos con los chicos y las chicas de Diabetes La Costa, que realizan una importante tarea de concientización acerca de esta enfermedad», expresó Cristian luego de compartir una mañana con los chicos y chicas en un rico desayuno saludable.
“Cada año encaramos distintas acciones para la visibilización de la enfermedad, como por ejemplo este desayuno con el intendente Cristian Cardozo, que hacemos todos los años, y la iluminación de color azul del Palacio Municipal. Fue una reunión muy linda, donde los chicos también le pudieron acercar sus necesidades en primera persona”, explicó María Constanza Hlawaczek, presidenta de Diabetes La Costa.
Al cierre del encuentro, los chicos le realizaron la medición de glucemia al intendente Cristian Cardozo, entre otras autoridades presentes.
El Partido de La Costa está adherido desde 2014, y fue el primer municipio en hacerlo en todo el país, a la Ley Nacional de Diabetes, que garantiza la cobertura del 100% del tratamiento de la enfermedad por parte del sistema de salud, tanto del sector público como privado.
Además, desde la gestión del intendente Cristian Cardozo se incluyó desde 2020 a la problemática de la diabetes en los cursos de manipulación de alimentos, con la misma metodología que se hizo con la celiaquía.
