En el marco del programa Conectar Igualdad Bonaerense, el gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, encabezó este viernes el acto de entrega de 114 computadoras personales para estudiantes que cursan el último año en seis escuelas secundarias del municipio de General Arenales. Fue en las instalaciones de la Escuela Primaria N°1 “José Fonrouge”, junto al intendente local, Edgardo Battaglia; la diputada bonaerense Valeria Arata; y el director provincial de Inversión Pública, Emir Miranda.
“Estamos distribuyendo las computadoras que los chicos y chicas que hoy terminan el secundario tendrían que haber recibido en 2018, cuando recién lo estaban empezando. Y lo hacemos ahora porque después del 2015 se descontinuó durante cuatro años esta política con la excusa de que no había internet en todas las escuelas”, expresó Kicillof y agregó: “Hoy estamos haciendo las dos cosas: al mismo tiempo que llevamos conectividad, recuperamos el Conectar Igualdad para la provincia de Buenos Aires”.
La iniciativa, que llevan adelante la Jefatura de Gabinete y la Dirección General de Cultura y Educación, ya distribuyó más de 72 mil netbooks en toda la Provincia.
Al respecto, el Gobernador señaló que “ante quienes dicen que esto es un despilfarro y un gasto innecesario, nosotros creemos que es una herramienta fundamental para brindar igualdad de oportunidades y mejores posibilidades para las y los bonaerenses”.
Por su parte, el intendente Battaglia remarcó: “Sabemos que para garantizar un futuro mejor tenemos que abordar muchos factores, pero sin dudas es fundamental que podamos brindar herramientas para una educación de calidad”. “Con este programa, que aspira a que todos los y las estudiantes cuenten con su computadora, estamos dando un gran paso para avanzar en esa dirección”, añadió.
Por último, Kicillof resaltó que “es a través de un Estado presente que se puede incluir a todos y todas: estas computadoras, como la inversión en salud, en educación, en la producción, vienen a cumplir el derecho de los y las bonaerenses a un futuro mejor”.
Estuvieron presentes el ministro de Salud, Nicolás Kreplak; el jefe de Gabinete de la Dirección General de Cultura y Educación, Pablo Urquiza; las diputadas bonaerenses Viviana Guzzo, Micaela Olivetto y Nora Salbitano; el legislador Alberto Conocchiari; la directora de la Escuela Primaria N° 1, Gabriela Cecchini; y la vicedirectora Romina Seta.
