Llega el “Festival de las Vacunas” para potenciar la campaña contra el sarampión, rubéola, paperas y poliomielitis
Este viernes 4 de noviembre se llevará a cabo el “Festival de las Vacunas”, impulsado por el Gobierno bonaerense para potenciar la Campaña Nacional contra el sarampión, rubéola, paperas y poliomielitis.
La propuesta se desarrollará de 16.00 a 20.00 en distintos puntos de la Provincia y en el Partido de La Costa tendrá lugar en el Polideportivo de Mar de Ajó Norte, ubicado en Mitre y Sarmiento; y en el Polideportivo de Santa Teresita, de Calle 13 entre 45 y 46. Durante la jornada habrá también espectáculos en vivo y diferentes actividades lúdicas y recreativas para los chicos y chicas.
De esta manera, las niñas y niños de entre 1 y 4 años que concurran podrán disfrutar del evento y, al mismo tiempo, recibir las dosis adicionales, gratuitas y obligatorias de la vacuna Triple Viral (contra sarampión, rubéola y paperas), y de la vacuna IPV (contra la polio) más allá de las dosis recibidas previamente; y sin necesidad de orden médica.
Con la campaña “Vamos a Vacunarnos”, que se extenderá hasta el 15 de noviembre, se busca mantener la eliminación del sarampión, la rubéola, el síndrome de rubéola congénita y la poliomielitis, ya que se trata de enfermedades contagiosas y graves, que aún provocan brotes en otras partes del mundo, pero que son prevenibles con vacunas.
De esta manera, con estas dosis extras gratuitas y obligatorias, disponibles en todos los vacunatorios bonaerenses, se brinda mayor protección y evita que estas enfermedades puedan resurgir en nuestro país.
