La Costa delinea acciones apuntadas a impulsar y acompañar la lactancia
Se proyecta la creación de un consultorio especializado más la capacitación de agentes sanitarios para trabajar sobre la detección de las problemáticas y así fortalecer el vínculo entre las madres y los bebés.
El intendente del Partido de La Costa, Cristian Cardozo, y la secretaria de Relaciones con la Comunidad, Manuela Castro, mantuvieron una reunión con profesionales de la salud para delinear acciones con respecto a la lactancia, el parto respetado y maternidades seguras.
La charla se desarrolló de forma virtual y contó con la participación de Marisol Moreno, a cargo del servicio de neonatología, y Mariela Pilaría, licenciada en obstetricia, con el objetivo de continuar trabajando para acompañar cada proyecto apuntada al desarrollo de la comunidad.
En este caso se dialogó sobre la puesta en marcha de un programa municipal para apoyar la lactancia materna en todas las etapas, antes y después del parto, y hasta que se realice el destete.
Este proyecto prevé la creación de una Comisión de Lactancia integrada por distintos profesionales de salud, para poder realizar las derivaciones necesarias en los casos que detecten que la mujer tenga alguna dificultad con su lactancia.
Otra de las propuestas fue la puesta en marcha de un Consultorio de Lactancia en el hospital municipal. Sumado a eso se proyectará una casa de madres de lactancia, para aquellas mujeres que sus bebés estén internados en neonatología y puedan permanecer allí hasta el alta de los mismos, para estar cerca, favorecer la lactancia y todos los cuidados del recién nacido.
Además, se trabajará en la capacitación de agentes que presten tareas en los Centros Comunitarios para, en una primera etapa, trabajar sobre la detección del problema y luego derivarlo al consultorio o comité de lactancia.
También se realizarán talleres para que las mamás, cuando sea necesario, puedan apoyarse en la alimentación complementaria de sus bebés con leche de fórmula y hacerlo de forma segura.
Por último, se destacó la adhesión del Municipio y de la Provincia de Buenos Aires a la Ley de Parto Respetado, que está estrechamente ligada al vínculo entre la madre y el niño.
