Tras el gran éxito de su single “Decirte adiós”, Cristian Castro lanza hoy, su segundo corte titulado “Simplemente tú”, una balada romántica cien por ciento al estilo de Cristian Castro, donde expresa sus profundos deseos, producto del enamoramiento y la fascinación ante el amor de su vida, declarándole a su vez, que es la persona más importante en su existir.
“Simplemente tú” está incluido en su más reciente material discográfico “Dicen…”, su primer álbum inédito después de poco más de siete años. El álbum fue grabado en aproximadamente 6 meses entre Los Ángeles, Miami y México y tuvo como productor al británico Warren Huart y al cubano Yotuel Romero.
En este álbum, Cristian tuvo una dedicación profunda para la elección de canciones, logrando no sólo escoger el mejor repertorio, sino contar con la participación de importantes autores jóvenes como Pablo Preciado (Matisse), Yotuel (Orishas), Cecy Leos (Kaay), Alan Saucedo, Mariana Vega y Ángela Dávalos; además de experimentados autores como Diego Verdaguer, Raúl Ornelas, Lalo Murguía, Mauricio Arriaga, Bruno Danza y el gran Jorge Macías (Q.E.P.D.). “Elegir las canciones fue lo más difícil. En cada una de ellas debía de haber algo muy personal, que fuera acorde a mi estilo”, un estilo que el propio Cristian define como balada formal, clásica, con mucho contenido sentimental; que contenga una frustración siempre sembrada, una esperanza, una súplica y un llanto.
“Dicen…” es un álbum con aromas muy románticos, baladas y canciones off tempo. En él hay melodías dulces, pero también un juego de tonos, donde Cristian explora con su voz en tesituras bajas y altas. Además, el material cuenta con algunos temas que trastocan el género urbano.
