La campaña de castraciones gratuitas para perros y gatos llega a Mar del Tuyú
El servicio finaliza hoy viernes su recorrido por Santa Teresita, y tras haber estado en San Clemente y Las Toninas, el Hospital Veterinario Móvil arribará a la localidad cabecera del Partido de La Costa.
La Municipalidad de La Costa informa que la campaña de castraciones gratuitas para perros y gatos continúa su recorrida por las localidades del distrito, atendiendo con turnos previos a los cuales se puede acceder a través de la web de La Costa desde Turnos castraciones.
La iniciativa, impulsada por la gestión del intendente Cristian Cardozo, finaliza hoy viernes su paso por Santa Teresita y luego de haber estado presente en San Clemente y Las Toninas llegará a Mar del Tuyú.
Por eso, desde el martes 6 al jueves 8 el Hospital Veterinario Móvil llegará a la Unidad de Gestión Municipal de Mar del Tuyú (calle 4 y 64) con las castraciones de perros, mientras que el viernes 9 el operativo será únicamente para gatos. Además se brinda el servicio de vacunación antirrábica gratuita.
Se recuerda además a los vecinos y vecinas que las castraciones están destinadas a perros y gatos de ambos sexos, de más de 6 meses de edad, sin necesidad de haber tenido algún celo o crías, y que al momento de realizar el procedimiento el animal deberá tener 12 horas de ayuno de sólidos y líquidos.
Asimismo, se solicita a la comunidad llevar una manta o sábana para trasladar al perro o gato dormido una vez que concluya la cirugía. En especial en el caso de los gatos se recomienda transportarlos de manera tal que eviten poner nervioso al felino y complicar el accionar de los profesionales de la dirección de Cuidado Animal antes de aplicar la anestesia pre quirúrgica.
Como es de público conocimiento y con el objetivo de cuidarnos entre todos, se pide también a los vecinos y vecinas que lleven a sus mascotas a las castraciones utilizar tapabocas y tener en cuenta todas las medidas preventivas para cuidar la salud de la comunidad.
El cronograma de castraciones continúa de la siguiente manera:
