La Costa: Llegan los Juegos Nacionales Evita
Del lunes 28 de marzo al viernes 1 de abril el Partido de La Costa será sede por primera vez de los Juegos Nacionales Evita de Playa, una competencia que reunirá a más de 1.400 atletas de todo el país y que es organizado de forma conjunta entre la secretaría de Deportes de la Nación, la provincia de Buenos Aires y la Municipalidad de La Costa. El evento será transmitido en vivo por DeporTV para toda la Argentina.
Desde la gestión del intendente Cristian Cardozo se realiza una fuerte apuesta al deporte como herramienta de inclusión y para eso se trabaja junto a las instituciones para incentivar las prácticas deportivas; mientras que también es una forma de potenciar al sector turístico fuera de la temporada alta, ya que el evento convoca a comitivas de diversas provincias.
Luego del éxito de los Juegos Universitarios de Playa La Costa 2022, el Centro de Deportes de Playa del Partido de La Costa volverá a ser el epicentro de la fiesta del deporte, un centro pensado para la organización de distintas disciplinas sobre la arena y ubicado en Costanera entre Córdoba y Moreno, de Mar de Ajó.
Esta vez, participarán más de 1.400 atletas que llegarán de todas las provincias del país, quienes representarán a su provincia y competirán para ganar la Copa Challenger.
Las disciplinas convencionales a disputarse serán aguas abiertas, vóleibol, fútbol, handball, canotaje, windsurf, stand up paddle. Además, natación en aguas abiertas tendrá su modalidad para personas con discapacidad.
Los Juegos Nacionales Evita de Playa son una competencia creada con el objetivo de manifestar la solidaridad y respeto a través del deporte, además de potenciar la competitividad tanto en deportes individuales como en equipo y desde una perspectiva federal.
Las sedes donde ya se disputaron los Juegos Nacionales Evita de Playa en ediciones anteriores fueron:
2016 – Las Grutas, provincia de Río Negro.
2017 – Concepción del Uruguray, provincia de Entre Ríos.
2018 – Rosario, provincia de Santa Fe.
2019 – Puerto Madryn, provincia de Chubut.
