Auspicioso arranque para dos tenistas del Centro Municipal de Alto Rendimiento
Los primeros torneos del calendario de la Asociación Argentina de Tenis aportaron destacadas actuaciones de los distintos jóvenes deportistas costeros que entrenan en el Centro Municipal de Alto Rendimiento.
En esta oportunidad, dos tenistas lograron ubicarse dentro de los mejores en el primer Regional de menores que se disputó en Cariló, con la organización de la Federación Cuenca del Salado y la Asociación Argentina de Tenis.
Lara Díaz Zaya, de Nueva Atlantis, tuvo una sobresaliente participación al coronarse campeona en la modalidad singles en su debut oficial en la categoría sub-16, con tan sólo 14 años, y se aseguró un lugar en el próximo Torneo Nacional de Mendoza, y dobles (categoría sub-14) en el certamen regional que organizó la Federación Cuenca del Salado y la Asociación Argentina de Tenis en Cariló.
Por su parte, y con 13 años, Valentín Guadagno, que vive en San Bernardo, fue subcampeón en la categoría sub-14 al caer en la final ante Felipe Spagnuolo (13° del ránking argentino) por 2-6 y 6-7, y continúa como una de las mejores raquetas de la región. Valentín también será parte del Nacional de Mendoza.
Lara y Valentín son acompañados por el equipo de profesionales del Centro Municipal de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo (CEMARD), que funciona en Santa Teresita, con el objetivo de potenciar el rendimiento de los deportistas costeros.
LARA JUGARÁ EN EL BUENOS AIRES LAWN TENNIS
Luego de la obtención del título, Lara será parte de la primera Copa Internacional exclusiva para mujeres que organiza la Confederación Sudamericana de Tenis (COSAT) y que tendrá lugar el próximo 14 de marzo en el mítico Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis. Lara participará en la categoría Sub-16.
