Vecinas y vecinos de La Costa se movilizaron en defensa de la Universidad Pública
La movilización en defensa de la Universidad Pública y en rechazo al veto del Presidente, Javier Milei, a la ley de financiamiento educativo, convocó a las y los costeros en una nueva jornada de movilización y concentración.
Con una masiva marcha a nivel nacional, el reclamo se replicó en todo el interior del país y, en La Costa, la convocatoria tuvo lugar en la Plaza del Niño Jesús de Santa Teresita.
Allí estuvieron presentes estudiantes, docentes, organizaciones sindicales, políticas y sociales, y un importante número de vecinas y vecinos que acompañaron el reclamo.
El Intendente, Juan de Jesús, acompañó el acto y destacó el rol de los docentes en todos los niveles de enseñanza para el desarrollo de los chicos y chicas. “Los docentes son los que transmiten, vinculan y descubren en los jóvenes todos aquellos potenciales que ellos tienen: eso es la educación, descubrir las cosas que tienen, transformarlas en un aprendizaje para que eso se haga un conocimiento y ese conocimiento es un saber, entonces eso es el mejor potencial humano que podemos tener”, señaló.
“Hoy venimos a defender la universidad pública. La Universidad con gratuidad no quiere decir que salga gratis: al Estado le cuesta, pero todos los ciudadanos contribuimos para sostener nuestra universidad. Y la educación abre caminos y proyectos, diversifica a la producción y el trabajo. Esto tiene que ver con aquellas cosas que hacen grande a nuestra Argentina”, destacó De Jesús.
Otro punto de movilización fue en San Clemente del Tuyú. Docentes, profesionales de distintas áreas y estudiantes, se encontraron en Plaza de las Banderas y coincidieron en el reclamo: No al veto.
