Este sábado el intendente del Partido de La Costa, Juan Pablo de Jesús, llevará adelante la inauguración del sexto Polideportivo Municipal construido durante su gestión. El corte de cintas se realizará este sábado en el Polideportivo de Aguas Verdes, que se ubica en la calle Destructor San Juan entre Balizador Ushuaia y Avenida Crucero 9 de Julio.
Dos semanas después de la inauguración del Polideportivo de San Bernardo se pondrá en funcionamiento el Polideportivo de Aguas Verdes. Se trata de una obra de más de 1.200 metros cuadrados, que contará con un playón y una batería de sanitarios. Mientras tanto, se avanza en las obras del Polideportivo de Mar de Ajó, ubicado en el barrio de Villa Clelia, y del Centro Deportivo de Santa Teresita, cuyo natatorio también está cerca de ser inaugurado.
La nueva infraestructura de Aguas Verdes permitirá que las Escuelas Municipales de Deporte amplíen sus prestaciones para que se sumen más chicos a practicar distintos deportes. Actualmente, más de 5.500 niños y jóvenes se desarrollan en distintas disciplinas favoreciendo hábitos saludables, alentando la inclusión, promoviendo valores y fomentando el espíritu de equipo.
