La campaña de castraciones gratuitas continúa su marcha en San Clemente
Será exclusivo para gatos en el Centro Comunitario El Tala, en la zona del Vivero Cosme Argerich. La semana que viene se recuperarán en el barrio Juan XXIII de San Clemente los turnos cancelados por el mal tiempo.
La Municipalidad de La Costa informa que la campaña de castraciones gratuitas estará hoy viernes en el Centro Comunitario El Tala (Cosme Argerich) destinada exclusivamente a gatos, según el cronograma establecido.
Cabe recordar que la iniciativa, impulsada por la gestión de Cristian Cardozo, se lleva adelante con turnos programados, a los cuales se puede acceder a través de página web www.lacosta.gob.ar desde Turnos castraciones
En este marco, la semana próxima volverá al barrio Juan XXIII de San Clemente para atender aquellos turnos que debieron ser reprogramados por cuestiones climáticas. Los mismos se recuperarán el martes 8, miércoles 9 y viernes 11 de septiembre en los horarios ya pautados.
Se recuerda a los vecinos y vecinas que las castraciones están destinadas a perros y gatos de ambos sexos, de más de 6 meses de edad, sin necesidad de haber tenido algún celo o crías, y que al momento de realizar el procedimiento el animal deberá tener 12 horas de ayuno de sólidos y líquidos.
Asimismo, se solicita a la comunidad llevar una manta o sábana para trasladar al perro o gato dormido una vez que concluya la cirugía. En especial en el caso de los gatos se recomienda transportarlos de manera tal que eviten poner nervioso al felino y complicar el accionar de los profesionales de la dirección de Cuidado Animal antes de aplicar la anestesia pre quirúrgica.
Como es de público conocimiento y con el objetivo de cuidarnos entre todos, se pide también a los vecinos y vecinas que lleven a sus mascotas a las castraciones utilizar tapabocas y tener en cuenta todas las medidas preventivas para cuidar la salud de la comunidad.
