El intendente Costero visitó a cadetes y confirmó más equipamiento para la Policía Local
El intendente Juan Pablo de Jesús visitó la Escuela de Policía Local y compartió un encuentro con los 130 cadetes que están prontos a finalizar su formación. Esta segunda promoción ampliará la zona de cobertura policial y contará con nuevos vehículos y equipos de comunicación.
Así lo informó el mandatario local, quien precisó que la Municipalidad amplió el parque automotor de la fuerza local con la adquisición de 5 camionetas y 20 motos. A su vez, anticipó que se decidió sumar bicicletas para que la promoción siguiente, de otros 130 efectivos, pueda circular con estos vehículos en la zona de la Costanera y las peatonales en esta próxima temporada de verano.
El intendente dialogó con el director de la Escuela, Marcos Aguirre, con quien profundizó en el funcionamiento de la institución, algunas necesidades del espacio y en el desarrollo del año lectivo. Asimismo, el jefe de la Policía Local, Gustavo Camelia, también participó de la reunión participó donde se analizaron los puntos geográficos en que prestarán servicio los nuevos efectivos.
Las incorporaciones de efectivos estarán acompañadas por la compra de equipos de comunicación para que los nuevos integrantes de la Policía Local que custodiarán las calles de La Costa estén en constante contacto con el resto de los efectivos de la fuerza.
Durante el encuentro, además, el jefe comunal también hizo entrega de los registros de conducir tanto para aquellos cadetes que obtuvieron su primer licencia como para aquellos que accedieron al registro profesional que les permite manejar vehículos de emergencia. Luego de llevar adelante los cursos de manejo, los alumnos rindieron las instancias correspondientes y recibieron de manera gratuita, producto del financiamiento municipal, las licencias de conducir.
