El PARTIDO DE LA COSTA RECIBIÓ EN LO QUE VA DE MARZO UN 8% MÁS DE TURISMO QUE EL AÑO PASADO
Desde el 1 al 8 de marzo el Partido de La Costa recibió 181.800 visitantes, lo que supone un crecimiento del 8% en comparación al mismo periodo de 2022, de acuerdo a los datos suministrados por la secretaría de Turismo de la Municipalidad de La Costa y el Ente Mixto de Desarrollo Turístico costero (EDETUR).
El detalle de los arribos en la temporada alta, considerando desde el 1 de diciembre de 2022 hasta el 8 de marzo de 2023, indica que un total de 3.815.900 personas eligieron como destino al Partido de La Costa. Esta cifra significa un 7% que la cantidad de visitantes que llegaron a La Costa entre el 1 de diciembre de 2021 y el 8 de marzo de 2022.
Asimismo, es importante destacar que también desde el comienzo de 2023 hasta el 8 de marzo llegaron 2.967.600 turistas, registrándose un incremento del 7% respecto al año anterior. Todos estos datos vuelven a confirmar al Partido de La Costa como el destino turístico más elegido de la Argentina en temporada alta.
Los datos de la ocupación promedio revelan también un crecimiento del 21% en el sector de cabañas y del 19% en hotelería. En Costa del Este, por ejemplo, se alcanzó un pico de ocupación del 98%, mientras que San Clemente se llegó al 80%. Y si se analiza por categorías de alojamiento, por ejemplo la hotelería 4 estrellas de La Costa consiguió un 96% de ocupación promedio, seguida por los apart hoteles con un 85%.
Cabe destacar que desde la gestión del intendente Cristian Cardozo se trabaja para impulsar el turismo en el Partido de La Costa, tanto en la temporada de verano como en el resto del año a través de múltiples políticas y medidas. De esta manera se consigue fomentar la actividad turística, generando puestos de trabajo y movimiento económico en todas las localidades.
A la promoción en medios nacionales, las giras llevadas a cabo junto al sector privado por diversas provincias argentinas y el impulso del turismo de eventos y reuniones, por ejemplo, se suman iniciativas como el PreViaje y los Viajes de Fin de Curso, entre otras acciones que se elaboran junto a la Nación y la Provincia.
